A well-built 108-square-foot cabin for resting well after long days outdoors. Simple and intentional — built for sleeping, not lingering inside.

Who This Stay Is For

Guests who plan to spend most of their time outdoors.

Couples, solo travellers, or those travelling with a child drawn to the water, the trails, the beach — and the quiet that comes after.

If you value stillness, simplicity, and a small space that feels intentional, it will feel right.

It may not be the right fit if you're looking for a full kitchen, multiple bedrooms, or a large indoor living space. The cabin is intentionally compact, and the sauna and bathroom are in a separate heated building across the boardwalk. The space is most comfortable for two guests, with room for a third.

Wake up when you're ready. Coffee first, then wherever the day takes you.

Some guests spend the day out — birding, the trails, the bay, the beach, the charters. Others stay and enjoy the property. Fish from the dock. Take the rowboat out. Swim in the afternoon. Cook outside on the griddle. Let the day move at its own pace.

When the light starts to change, get the fire going. Heat the sauna.

By the time you cross the boardwalk for the night, you'll have earned the quiet.

Arrival and Departure

Check-in is at 3PM via self check-in with a lockbox. Check-out is at 11AM.

The Property

This is a backyard guest cabin on a one-acre property. The main home is on-site and visible. The backyard and all guest spaces are exclusively yours during your stay.

Guests

The cabin is registered for the guests listed at booking. Due to the size of the space, additional overnight guests are not permitted. Maximum occupancy is three.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours begin at 11PM. Please be mindful of the surrounding property after this time.

Sauna

Please follow all posted guidelines and use responsibly.

Cooking and Fires

The cabin includes a microwave and coffee station indoors. Cooking is done outside on the Blackstone griddle. The fire pit is available for guest use. Please respect all municipal fire bans and check current conditions before lighting. No smoking anywhere on the property. No vaping indoors.

Swimming and Pond Use

Swimming is from the dock only. Pond edges are natural and muddy and not suitable for entry. Please stay clear of the edges when entering or while in the water. The rowboat is available for guest use. All water activities are at your own risk.

Parking

A designated guest parking area is clearly marked upon arrival. EV charging is available on site. Please reach out before your stay so we can make sure everything is set up for your arrival.

Garbage and Recycling

Please collect all garbage and recycling and place it in the clearly marked bins before departure.

Security Deposit

A pre-authorization of CAD $275 is held on your card at check-in and voided 2 days after departure, provided the property is left in good condition.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund when cancelled 14 or more days before arrival. 50% refund when cancelled 7 or more days before arrival. No refund after that. 50% is due at booking, with the remaining balance due 7 days before arrival.
